Discipleship Committee
The Education Group takes an overview of eductional activities on behalf of the St Luke's community and acts to support, advise and encourage those involved in organisation and leadership.
The committee seeks to disseminate information regarding resources, training and support and to enable groups to co-ordinate activities where approriate and to share and exchange good practice.
Liaison is maintained with committees and groups involved with Worship and Ecumenical activities, the Study Centre in Butely Road and the Youth Work Action Group.
The development of an overall strategy for education at St Luke's, a focus on Christian elements in the traditional festivals, support and encouragement for those trying to keep Christian ideals in family life, are seen as important areas for promotion and initiatives, providing education and nurture across all age-ranges.
