A Parish in the Diocese of St Albans
Mothers' Union
The Mothers' Union is for all those who are baptised into the Christian faith, whether you are a mother or not, married or not, male or female, provided that you believe in our Aims and Objectives, which are:

· To help promote a stable Christian family life and especially to help and encourage those whose family life have met with difficulties.
· To encourage parents to bring their children up in the faith and life of the church.
· To share the fellowship of Christians worldwide so we are united in prayer.
At our meetings we watch videos and use discussion papers to educate ourselves on worldwide issues, we have mediatation and spritual subjects, creative and fun times. A Christmas party and summer outing. We also participate in diocesan festivals and quiet days.

As a group we have corporate communion the first Thursday of each month at 9.30am in the Lady Chapel, followed by coffee and fellowship. Every Tuesday at 10.00am, a prayer time is held in the Choir vestry. On the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm, we meet in the hall, with crèche. On the 4th Thursday of the month at 8.00pm we meet again in the hall. Click here for details of our programme of events for 2009.

We look forward to seeing you at one our meetings so you may share with us the life and worth of the Mothers' Union and the church here in Leagrave.
